We brought the Apple Pie Trail website out of the dos ages and into the 21st century. With fresh content, beautiful imagery, video and sound design the trail were awarded the Ontario Culinary Tourism Award in 2017.
Lead generation: It was important for us to make the site function as a tool for growing a database for the trail and it's partners. By creating fresh, valuable content including how to's and delicious local recipes we were able to organically grow an email database of over 1000 people over a short time - with zero ad spend!
Social Media: With a very limited budget, like most non-profits, we had to work with organic reach. Sparrow maintained the social channels for the Apple Pie Trail for two years until a member of their team could take over. During this time we created 2-3 posts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram per week and 2 blogs per month. Consistency is key!
